Yes! We have 5 tracks of education planned, including “Start.” Our event covers the entire podcast process from starting one to achieving your goals. Even if you don’t know WHAT you want to podcast about, our content is sure to inspire you and spark tons of ideas!
Whether you wanna make this your career or you simply wanna press record and talk because you love podcasting. You belong.
Target Attendee: She Podcasts is a network of over 12K podcasters that identify as women and may or may not be career podcasters, or “corpcasters.”
We want to host this first event to provide a space for all of us side-hustling podcasters navigating our work in a male-dominated industry.
Any gender identity and/or expression is valued and this event is targeting those that don’t fit the dominant avatar of podcast hosts, aka men. We will provide a safe space for non-binary podcasters, cisgender women as well as trans women to thrive in a safe space.
All political views, cultural experiences, abilities, racial and ethnic identities, are valued and encouraged as leaders in our community.
YES! Anyone is welcome to come if they choose. If there is a man out there who wants to attend this women’s conference (whether with their child, partner, friend or just on his own) then that’s the guy we’d like to have. We assume that those are the men that will be the most respectful and cognizant of the experience and space we’re trying to create. Also, we don’t have time to check for physcial proof at the door.
You can join our email list at the bottom of the page and we’ll be happy to keep you up to date!
Elsie and I travel quite a bit to other podcasting conferences throughout the year, and wanted our first She Podcasts LIVE event to be close to one of our hometowns. Neither of us had been to Atlanta and decided since it was driving distance for Elsie, we’d go for it! I’ve always wanted to go to Atlanta and really loved the vibe the first time I went!
Refunds will be permitted until a month or so before the event, and afterwards, tickets are transferrable to other attendees. If you are a Kickstarter contributor, however, we cannot refund your “ticket” sale because it was a funding contribution. However we can certainly “pay it forward” and give your ticket to someone who may not otherwise be able to attend.
Firstly, thank you so much! We do need volunteers for various assignments during the event. Sign up for our email list at the bottom of the page and when we have openings, we’ll let you know that way,
